So the power has not been the friendliest to us the past week. I told you last blog update that the power was out for over 24 hrs, only for us! And that has happened many more times my friends, many more times...
I will take this time to share with you all 2 occasions when this happened again. In the past 48hrs our power has gone out twice, for long periods...only for us! We woke up Tuesday morning to find that our power was not working. We went about our day just thinking that it was out everywhere, because it happens quite often like that, but as night dawned on us, we saw lights on everywhere! I know, I know, puzzling eh? So it turns out we sat in our Sahara of an apartment all day without power, when we could have had power the whole time! Turns out our little switch thing is kind of messed up or something like that (again, not sure what our landlord says sometimes haha) and it randomly turns off sometimes!
The sequel to that story is that very same night. After enjoying maybe 6 hours of the nice cool fan, our power went out again! By this time it was after midnight, so most people were asleep, including our landlord. We went downstairs of our apartment building to go flip the switch because obviously it had switched off again for some reason, and there was a door that stood between us and the box thing. Never before have we ever seen a door there by the way, so we were kind of confused. And Of course, the door was locked. We had to endure another night of sleeping in the desert.
